Takaya Shiomi: KANGOKUKI

The book is an allegory about the red army founder, accused of being in violation of the Subversive Activities Prevention Law [Act]. Following his imprisonment, he read about a series of the red army activity (Japan Airlines Flight 351 in 1970, Asama-Sanso incident in 1972, Lod Airport massacre in 1972). He was convinced that this violence was his responsibility and he abhorred it. He thought that revolution should have taken place peacefully.
